Kate is a clinical psychologist at the Centre for Clinical Interventions and a senior lecturer in psychology at Curtin University. She has clinical experience in individual and group cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) for adults with eating disorders, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders, as well as in family-based therapy (FBT) for adolescents aged 16–18 with Anorexia Nervosa. Her teaching focuses on postgraduate psychology programs, particularly in psychopathology and psychological interventions. Kate is passionate about supporting trainee psychologists in developing foundational CBT skills. Her research centres on mental health disorders and their treatment, and she has authored a number of scholarly journal articles and book chapters in the field.
