Peter is a senior clinical psychologist at the Centre for Clinical Interventions (CCI) and is a teaching and research professor of psychology within the School of Population Health, Curtin University. Peter’s clinical and research interests are broad and include anxiety disorders, transdiagnostic approaches to conceptualising and treating emotional disorders, the use of imagery in psychotherapy, eating disorders, and mechanisms of behavioural and cognitive change. He has published over 200 peer reviewed journal articles and serves on the Editorial Boards for the Journal of Anxiety Disorders, Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, and Journal of Experimental Psychopathology. Peter coordinates two units in the Master of Clinical Psychology program at Curtin University: Adult Psychopathology and Psychotherapy and Innovation and Evaluation in Clinical Practice.
Peter began with the WA Branch Committee in 2019 and joined the Board in 2023.
