General Information

CBT Therapists must fulfil the AACBT’s five accreditation criteria to become an Accredited AACBT Cognitive and/or Behavioural Therapist. This indicates you meet AACBT national standards for CBT training and practice. To maintain Accreditation as an AACBT Cognitive and/or Behavioural Therapist the AACBT’s criteria for continuing supervised clinical practice and professional development must be met on an annual basis. Accreditation needs to be renewed on an annual basis. Renewal forms are available here.

Registered Clinical Psychologists with the Psychology Board of Australia, and Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapists (CBP) with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) can now apply for Accreditation as an AACBT Ltd Therapist via the streamlined forms below.
