Do you want to increase confidence for Schema Chair Work? Would you like to see demonstrations of Schema Chair Work in action?
Are you curious about how you can activate deeper level change with clients who have not responded to cognitive and behavioural interventions alone?

This immersive session offers a focused exploration of Chair Work as a powerful experiential technique within Schema Therapy. Designed for clinicians with existing knowledge of Schema Therapy and a foundational understanding of the four main mode categories. This session will deepen your skills in facilitating transformative chair dialogues.

Chair Work involves using physical chairs to represent different parts of the self or significant others, allowing clients to externalise and engage with internal conflicts, unmet needs, and maladaptive patterns. Through this method, therapy shifts from a cognitive process to an emotionally rich and experiential one, often resulting in deeper and more lasting change than cognitive or behavioural interventions alone.

The session will explore the evidence behind Chair Work and demonstrate how it can be used to access and shift entrenched life patterns. Live demonstrations and practical guidance will equip participants to integrate Chair Work into their clinical practice, enhancing emotional processing and pattern breaking.
