Membership

Being a student member of AACBT enables early career researchers and practitioners to learn from world leaders in diverse fields of mental health and form relationships with peers and colleagues that last can last a lifetime.

Student membership of the AACBT is open to anybody studying in psychology, medicine, education, social work, occupational therapy, speech therapy, dentistry, nursing or other qualifications or areas of expertise where change of behaviour and/or cognition is relevant.

Students of relevant fields and provisionally registered psychologists are welcome as student members.

Membership is valid for 12 months from date of joining with no automatic renewals - membership remains free while studying (or a provisionally registered psychologist).

Local workshops and seminars: Each state branch hosts local events throughout the year, including pub discussions, master classes and workshops. Student members receive free entry or entry at significantly discounted rates. Student members receive **free** access to recorded webinars.

Who can join AACBT?

Student membership of AACBT is open to anybody studying in a field relevant to change of behaviour and/or cognitions. These include but are not limited to psychology, medicine, education, social work, occupational therapy, speech therapy, dentistry and nursing. Provisionally registered psychologists are also welcome as student members.

  • You must provide proof of your student enrolment status or provisional psychology registration to receive the student member discount – you include your documentation as an upload.

  • Your application is reviewed by a human, so it will not be approved instantly - please be patient and please do not submit multiple applications.

Refund Policy

AACBT membership fees are non-refundable.
