Jill Newby, Committee Member
Dr Jill Newby completed her Masters and PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of New South Wales in 2011. After she completed her PhD, Jill worked as a Clinical Psychologist at the Clinical Research Unit for Anxiety and Depression (CRUfAD) at St Vincent’s Hospital (2011-2012), before moving to Cambridge, United Kingdom where she worked as an Investigator Scientist at the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit (2012-2013).
Since 2013, Jill has held a NHMRC Postdoctoral Fellowship and worked as an Honorary Clinical Psychologist at CRUFAD. Her clinical work specialises in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders. She conducts clinical research into the treatment of anxiety and depression, with a focus on health anxiety, transdiagnostic interventions, and internet-delivered cognitive behavioural therapy.Back to State Branch
