Michelle is a registered Psychologist, with a primary focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander mental health. Michelle is a Gamilaroi woman, living and working in Jagera country in Meanjin (Brisbane). Currently, Michelle works across two positions within Metro South Health: Senior Psychologist at Inala Indigenous Health (aka Southern Qld Centre of Excellence), and Team Leader for Way Forward, an Indigenous mental health and addictions team. Michelle is also an international affiliate and accredited facilitator for the ‘Courageous Conversations about Race: Beyond Diversity’ workshop series.
Michelle has also served on the Qld Branch committee as the Branch Chair, and Qld Resource Officer (librarian).
