Rachel Menzies completed her honours degree, Masters and PhD in psychology at the University of Sydney. After completing her Honours degree, she won the Dick Thompson Thesis Prize for her work on the dread of death and its relationship to obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Rachel currently works as a clinical psychologist and as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Sydney, where she regularly delivers lectures. Her clinical work and research specialises in the treatment of anxiety-related disorders, with a focus on alleviating fears of death.


Rachel began with the Branch Committee in 2021.
