Dr Rebecca Anderson
Dr Rebecca Anderson has worked in research and clinical psychology roles within Curtin University, the Centre for Mental Health Services Research, and the Centre for Clinical Interventions in the Department of Health, Western Australia. She is the current Deputy Director of the Clinical Psychology Postgraduate Program at Curtin University. In this role, Rebecca coordinates the Curtin University Psychology Clinic, coordinates and supervises clinical placement students, and is actively involved in teaching and research. Rebecca has published book chapters, treatment manuals and journal articles in the area of obsessive-compulsive and related disorders. She is the co-founder of OCD? Not Me, an online treatment for young people with OCD. Over the years, Rebecca has actively trained many MH practitioners, GPs and psychiatrists in CBT via the Department of Health, Curtin University, UWA and the Graylands psychiatry registrar program. She has also authored a range of CBT self-help guides for Health Anxiety, Body Dysmorphic Disorder, and Generalised Anxiety Disorder (available at www.cci.health.wa.gov.au).
Rebecca began with the Branch Committee in 2003 and has also served on the National Board (2010-2021).Back to State Branch
