Dr Mark Boschen is a Senior Lecturer in Clinical Psychology at Griffith University, and practicing clinical psychologist, specialising in adult anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders. Mark is a Fellow of the Australian Psychological Society, and has worked previously in the public health sector, as well as tertiary education. He has demonstrated a strong commitment to the education and training of psychologists through his undergraduate and postgraduate teaching activities, and his regular professional workshops for the Society.
Emetophobia, the fear of vomiting, is a debilitating anxiety disorder that significantly affects the life of those with the disorder. Someone with Emetophobia often avoids common situations and experiences where the person may themselves vomit, or where vomiting may occur. Dr Mark Boschen specializes in the assessment and treatment of Emetophobia and will present on this topic at the first Queensland pub discussion for 2017.
