Overview: In this four-day training program, participants will develop a thorough theoretical understanding of cognitive behaviour therapy and the skills specific to this mode of therapy. Teaching approaches will include lectures, modelling and a strong emphasis on skills practice in small groups with supervision. This course is suitable for the beginner of those wishing to refresh their skills. A qualification in a health or “helping” profession is a prerequisite.

In the thirty years Monica has been working as a psychologist, she has worked with clients suffering a range of problems. She enjoys helping people rebuild their lives after trauma, childhood abuse and a variety of anxiety conditions.
Monica has particular expertise working with clients suffering sexual problems, work stress and other injuries. Monica sees herself as an emotional coach and enjoys working with competent people who wish to extend themselves.
